Michael Angarano has two very different movies at Sundance this year, the very sweet Homework and Kevin Smith’s headline-making Red State . Homework was quickly snatched up by Fox Searchlight , while Smith raised controversy by claiming he was going to auction off Red State after the premiere and instead announcing his own plans to distribute the film . Angarano sat down to talk with us about both projects, the Red State “circus” complete with protesters and counter-protesters, and teaming up with a talented cast including Emma Roberts and Freddy Highmore.
