Kristen Stewart and her On the Road castmates gathered this morning for a photo call at the Cannes Film Festival. Kristen paired a white tee and black blazer with a pair of wild printed pants for the press session. She threw an arm around a Dolce & Gabbana-clad Kirsten Dunst for a series of girls-only pictures, then linked up with costars Sam Riley, Viggo Mortensen , Tom Sturridge, Garrett Hedlund, and Danny Morgan. Kristen’s in France with the picture and her costars just ahead of her boyfriend Robert Pattinson ‘s Cannes debut. The 2012 Billboard Music Awards brought plenty of famous faces to the MGM Grand in Las Vegas tonight. LMFAO, who won six awards, opened the show before hosts Julie Bowen and Ty Burrell took the stage. A variety of artists including The Wanted and Kelly Clarkson , introduced by Robin Thicke, had their turn in the spotlight. Carrie Underwood , who brought husband Mike Fisher, performed “Blown Away” in a glamorous red dress while Natasha Bedingfield sang a tribute to the late Donna Summer. Katy Perry rocked the crowd with the debut of her new single “Wide Awake” and Usher brought “Scream” to the stage. Justin Bieber took the microphone as well with “Boyfriend.” Jordin Sparks shared a moving rendition of “I Will Always Love You” honoring Whitney Houston after John Legend kicked it off with “The Greatest Love of All.” Bobbi Kristina then accepted the Millennium Award for her mom, saying “I’m just blessed to have been in such an incredible woman’s life.” There were many more statues given out this evening with Julianne Hough presenting Justin with top social artist. Vanity Fair and Gucci hosted a glamorous bash at the Hotel Du Cap during the Cannes Film Festival in France last night. Naomi Watts stepped out for the affair after partying at Calvin Klein’s fete on Thursday with Diane Kruger and Jessica Chastain. Jennifer Connelly , in a black Gucci dress, and her husband Paul Bettany showed up following a red carpet appearance for Madagascar 3 during the day. Alec Baldwin and his fiancé Hilaria Thomas joined in on the fun as did Chris Pine and his girlfriend Dominique Piek. Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault were back in the spotlight following their own red carpet run that afternoon and Ed Westwick made a statement in black tie. The 65th Cannes Film Festival is underway, and jurors like Diane Kruger and Ewan McGregor gathered this morning on the Croisette for a kickoff photocall. Diane posed for the assembled press in a chic, laced-up Versus by Versace number, but by the evening, had changed into a cool blue gown for the opening gala premiere of Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom . She shared the red carpet with other starlets like Jessica Chastain, L’Oréal brand ambassador Eva Longoria , and Bruce Willis . There was plenty more going on today as well. Moonrise costars Tilda Swinton, Edward Norton , Bill Murray , and Jason Schwartzman had a photocall, and Sacha Baron Cohen arrived at the festival as The Dictator , on a camel, and later horsed around on a yacht with Elisabetta Canalis.
