We haven’t paid attention to the Usher custody drama yet, because to be honest the stories broke late in the day yesterday. This Usher story is juicy gossip-wise, but there are kids involved so that makes it more sad than salacious. As background, Usher and Tameka Foster divorced in the summer of 2009. They have two boys together: Usher Raymond V, four and a half, and Naviyd, three and a half. It’s been about three years since Usher filed for divorce and they are still fighting over custody issues. It may have to do with the on-off nature of their relationship, at least toward the end of their marriage, ( Usher’s song “Papers” is said to be about Tameka ) but it sounds more like petty fighting. If Usher’s testimony is to be believed, it’s all Tameka’s fault. As background, Usher, 33, has a history of dating older women and letting them take over as managers of his career. He did this with Tameka, pushing his mom out as manager, and he did this about a year ago with his current girlfriend , 44 year-old music executive Grace Miguel. Usher testified in court that during a routine hand-of of Usher, Jr., Tameka spit on Grace, took a swing at her, and threw a plate of food at their car. According to Usher, Grace was back in the car at the end of the driveway. Tameka got so mad at him for daring to bring him with her that she trounced down to the car and started screaming at Grace, saying things like “ I’m going to kick your ass ,” and “ Bitch get out of the car .” When Usher tried to block Tameka from attacking Grace, she hit him instead. Usher blasted his ex-wife in court today — testifying that Tameka Foster flew into a jealous rage, hitting him, throwing food, and worst of all … spitting on his girlfriend. Usher took the stand in his ongoing child custody trial with his ex, and under questioning by his attorney, revealed how Tameka once went ballistic and “wanted to fight” … when he showed up at her house with his new sidepiece. Ush testified Tameka walked to his car and said, “I’m gonna kick your ass. Bitch get out of the car. How dare you bring this woman into my subdivision in my house?” He added, “She continued to spit. At this point she pulled the door open, tried to swing at her.” Usher claims he had to get out of the car and block Tameka … who then hit him. Usher said he pleaded with Tameka to calm down, but claims “she threw a plate of food at the car” … as he fled the situation. You gotta hear Usher describe the intense showdown — and remember, Tameka previously testified she once told the gf, “I will f**k you up.” [From TMZ ] Usher seemed really earnest, and honest, when he was recalling this. (Video is below and available on TMZ ) Either he’s an excellent actor, which is possible since he’s a celebrity and an entertainer, or he’s telling the truth as he saw it. We’ve heard all sorts of stories about what a whack job Tameka is , so I believe it. Usher married her, though, and he knew what he was getting into, considering that he backed out of the first marriage ceremony at Clive Davis’ house at the last minute. He probably realized within a few months that he never should have gone back and made it official. TMZ has another clip from Usher’s testimony , in which he cries over allegations that he’s a bad dad and parties in front of his boys. He denied that, and it was hard to hear but I think they showed a photo of him smoking pot. He countered that he was in Holland at the time. This whole thing really made me feel sorry for Usher. There’s no doubt Cheryl Cole looks amazing at the Cannes Film Festival, but she’s asking her fans to do something not everyone “can” probably get behind. Cheryl tells the In:Demand With Alex James radio show that she thinks its about time we all forgive Chris Brown for brutally assaulting Rihanna in 2009. She says we should move on, because the guy is talented as hell. Cheryl continues to point out that Rihanna herself has forgiven the singer, and they have even released two recent songs together. But Brown still has his share of haters, including country star Miranda Lambert… She Tweeted against his comeback at the Grammy’s, saying “He beat up on a girl. Not cool that we act like that didn’t happen.” Whether Cheryl’s fans forgive or never forget, Brown has kept his hits in the recording studio.

In case you didn’t notice last week, I was kind of recovering from a Cracken Bender. Like, most of the time, I kind of enjoy making fun of Lindsay Lohan just because A) she deserves it because she’s the least sympathetic person ever (aside from actual war criminals) and B) in her crack-addled mind, she KNOWS she’s incredibly awesome, so what does it even matter? So… I needed a little break, and CB covered LL’s appearance on Glee – which, from what I gather, was barely two minutes of cracked-out timing and dumb jokes. So, considering that LL’s “comeback” is in full swing and that Lifetime “Liz & Dick” monstrosity is due to begin filming in two weeks or so, how is Lindsay spending her time? Why, she’s sitting at home, soberly reading her Bible. Just kidding, she’s partying until 7 am with Paris Hilton, and the party only ends when the cops come. They both have long-standing reputations as Hollywood wild ones. And Paris Hilton, 31, and Lindsay Lohan, 25, didn’t do themselves any favours after attending a raucous party at a LA home until the early hours of Saturday morning. Police were called to the Hollywood Hills residence after neighbours filed a noise complaint, according to onlookers. Paris was spotted leaving the property wearing dark sunglasses and a cap along with her friend, oil heir Brandon Davis. Lindsay is understood to have made an undercover exit, hiding under a towel in the back seat of a friend’s car. Lindsay and Paris are clearly on good terms again after a spectacular feud dating back to 2006, when the hotel heiress and Brandon crudely nicknamed her Firecrocth. The Mean Girls actress has been attempting to resuscitate her flagging career and recently made a guest appearance on Glee. But she reported to be a ‘total nightmare’ on the set of the hit show – which stars Lea Michele, Corey Monteith and Matthew Morrison – because she turned up late and did not know her lines. Meanwhile Paris, who is dating DJ Afrojack, has been inspired to try a career change by her new beau. She will debut her DJ set in Sao Paulo, Brazil on June 23 in front 30,000 people. She will be following a performance by Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Lopez. I get that they have “similar interests” and probably the same number of brain cells. But for God’s sake… I feel like this is 2006 all over again. By the way, remember photographer Tyler Shields, the dude who took all of those crazy photos of The Cracken playing with a gun? Well, he did a new photo shoot with Lindsay for Vault Magazine – the photos haven’t been released yet, but part of Tyler’s interview has been excerpted . Isn’t that funny? Lindsay isn’t interviewed – Tyler Shields is. Oh, and Shields is a douche. He tells Vault, “People said she (Lindsay) was unstable, so I decided to show them what they were already believing, what they already chose to see.” He also says, “I’m not a label. I’m not a fashion. I’m not a celebrity…I’ll buy a Ferrari and blow it up. I come across so many people who are afraid to live. I want to give them a window to another world. I don’t believe in fear.” For goodness sake. You know who was a truly fearless photographer? The late Tim Hetherington . Kimye is causing chaos in the UK! Kanye West and Kim Kardashian were spotted looking lovey-dovey, as they left a luxury London hotel together walking hand-in-hand. The pair were headed to the Brewery for the FiFi fragrance awards, Kim’s signature fragrance had been nominated at the event. Upon arrival, Kim dazzled on the red carpet, as she showed off her famous curves, according to reports Kanye had skipped the red carpet to give his leading lady the limelight. The queen of self-promotion, used the event to display her latest scent True Reflection. And if it’s a reflection of how she looks, we bet is smells good!

They came, they saw, they mobbed her. Miley Cyrus is down in Miami doing some recording for an upcoming record, and boy did she get mobbed. Fans and photographers swarmed her and her mom Tish coming out of her hotel and it was one of the biggest crushes we’ve seen in a while. If you’re down in Miami, look for the crowd of paparazzi and she’ll be somewhere in the middle.

George Clooney’s got a new bitch and she’s BEAUTIFUL. I was hoping that these photos were candids of Clooney and a new adopted puppy, but they’re just shots of Clooney filming a commercial for Android smart phones, and the beautiful dog is just an “actor”. Isn’t the puppy gorgeous? I’ve never seen Clooney with a redhead before, and now I can’t help but think… this works. He’s been with exotic, mannish brunettes, he’s done the glorified escort thing, it’s time for a redhead who nuzzles his crotch on a public beach, out in the open. I’m guessing Clooney dismissed the redhead because he doesn’t like his bitches to have successful careers. According to The Mail , the puppy was smitten with George too, though. The Mail notes: “Although the dog wasn’t his own pet, it looked like the pair had quickly struck up a rapport. While holding the phone in his hand, Clooney stroked, patted and chatted to his new pal.” Apparently, the puppy even preferred George’s company when the cameras were off too. Maybe the puppy was just smelling George’s dog – he has an overweight puppy named Einstein – Einstein was used during Clooney’s last Oscar campaign, and Einstein fell short, apparently. Maybe Clooney needs a big, beautiful redhead. This dog is like the canine equivalent of Christina Hendricks. Love the photos of the puppy groping George. You know George is all, “Hey, baby. The Kardashians have a long history of getting plastic surgery and procedures as some kind of plot for their reality show. We’ve seen Kim get Botox, Khloe get laser hair removal for her lady parts, and mom Kris Jenner get a facelift prior to Kim’s lavish wedding. In a new promo for the upcoming seventh season of the show, Kris is shown waking up looking like she’s stuffed a hotdog underneath her upper lip. We’re just going on The Daily Mail’s report on this, as I haven’t been able to find the actual video. The pictures tell the story pretty much, in that Kris has these lips in a scene that looks in no way contrived in which she wakes up with her makeup partially applied and several of her kids come piling in the room to gawk. Here’s more, thanks to the Daily Mail: In a new trailer for the upcoming season, Kris Jenner, the matriarch of the family, is seen with a pout which looks suspiciously enhanced compared to her usual appearance. Kris, 56, is seen looking shocked as she wakes up in her bed with a much bigger top lip. The leader of the Kardashian clan shows off her new look to daughter Kim, 31, and son Rob, 25, as the two siblings stand gobsmacked at their mother’s bedside. Kris, who is still in her pyjamas and is wearing no make-up, appears horrified by her overnight transformation and tries to hide her mouth with her hand. The rest of the family hear the commotion and rush into the bedroom surprised by Jenner’s plump top lip. It is not clear from the 30 second clip whether the mother-of-six has really had a bad reaction to a cosmetic surgery procedure, or if she is playing a prank on her children. Later in the trailer viewers are shown the Kardashians going on holiday to their favourite destination of the Dominican Republic. [From The Daily Mail ] Who is the girl in the bikini? She doesn’t look like one of the youngest Kardashian girls, so maybe she’s Rob’s girlfriend or something. The last photos we have of Kris are from May 10, below, and her lips look fug in frosted pink lipstick but they’re otherwise normal-sized. So I’m guessing this was either a stunt, or a reaction to a lip injection which soon reverted to normal. It probably doesn’t matter either way. These are the Kardashians, they’ll do just about anything to get our attention and it’s still working, goddamnit. Radar lets us know that the seventh season of the show “ will feature 18 one-hour episodes, the most ever .” They may have some KANYE to fill that time. He appears in a new TV spot for the show (it’s unclear whether it’s this same one) and Kim semi-confirmed to E! that Kanye will be featured . She then took a veiled dig at her sister, Khloe. “ I want to show my life. If we are having dinner and [Kanye] does show up, I’m sure we’re not going to go, ‘Stop the cameras!’ “ I’m not going to be taking a bubble bath and drinking champagne or on a sex swing [on camera] like Khloé [Kardashian Odom] and Lamar [Odom] do. It’s not going to be like that. ” Not until she gets even more serious with Kanye in a whole two months’ time.
