It’s always an exciting event each year, and the 2012 BET Awards nominations have been announced to the public. Topping all contenders is Kanye West , who has scored a total of seven mentions with all but one coming from his collaboration with Jay-Z called Watch The Throne. Speaking of Jay, he’ll compete in five categories, while his wife/babymama Beyonce Knowles bested him with six nods. In other categories, “The Help” star Viola Davis is among the ladies hoping to take home the trophy for Best Actress while Denzel Washington vies for Best Actor accolades when the 2012 BET Awards comes to the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on July 1st. In case you didn’t notice last week, I was kind of recovering from a Cracken Bender. Like, most of the time, I kind of enjoy making fun of Lindsay Lohan just because A) she deserves it because she’s the least sympathetic person ever (aside from actual war criminals) and B) in her crack-addled mind, she KNOWS she’s incredibly awesome, so what does it even matter? So… I needed a little break, and CB covered LL’s appearance on Glee – which, from what I gather, was barely two minutes of cracked-out timing and dumb jokes. So, considering that LL’s “comeback” is in full swing and that Lifetime “Liz & Dick” monstrosity is due to begin filming in two weeks or so, how is Lindsay spending her time? Why, she’s sitting at home, soberly reading her Bible. Just kidding, she’s partying until 7 am with Paris Hilton, and the party only ends when the cops come. They both have long-standing reputations as Hollywood wild ones. And Paris Hilton, 31, and Lindsay Lohan, 25, didn’t do themselves any favours after attending a raucous party at a LA home until the early hours of Saturday morning. Police were called to the Hollywood Hills residence after neighbours filed a noise complaint, according to onlookers. Paris was spotted leaving the property wearing dark sunglasses and a cap along with her friend, oil heir Brandon Davis. Lindsay is understood to have made an undercover exit, hiding under a towel in the back seat of a friend’s car. Lindsay and Paris are clearly on good terms again after a spectacular feud dating back to 2006, when the hotel heiress and Brandon crudely nicknamed her Firecrocth. The Mean Girls actress has been attempting to resuscitate her flagging career and recently made a guest appearance on Glee. But she reported to be a ‘total nightmare’ on the set of the hit show – which stars Lea Michele, Corey Monteith and Matthew Morrison – because she turned up late and did not know her lines. Meanwhile Paris, who is dating DJ Afrojack, has been inspired to try a career change by her new beau. She will debut her DJ set in Sao Paulo, Brazil on June 23 in front 30,000 people. She will be following a performance by Kelly Clarkson and Jennifer Lopez. By the way, remember photographer Tyler Shields, the dude who took all of those crazy photos of The Cracken playing with a gun? Well, he did a new photo shoot with Lindsay for Vault Magazine – the photos haven’t been released yet, but part of Tyler’s interview has been excerpted . Isn’t that funny? Lindsay isn’t interviewed – Tyler Shields is. Oh, and Shields is a douche. He tells Vault, “People said she (Lindsay) was unstable, so I decided to show them what they were already believing, what they already chose to see.” He also says, “I’m not a label. I’m not a fashion. I’m not a celebrity…I’ll buy a Ferrari and blow it up. I come across so many people who are afraid to live. I want to give them a window to another world. I don’t believe in fear.” For goodness sake. You know who was a truly fearless photographer? The late Tim Hetherington . Both looking beautiful in black, Eva Longoria and Freida Pinto made elegant arrivals to the opening night dinner for the 65th Annual Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday (May 16). The “Slumdog Millionaire” stunner looked fabulous at the Palais des Festivals event in a mesh and sequin embellished black floor length gown that popped with a sexy high slit up the leg as she posed on the celeb-filled red carpet. Miss Longoria also pulled off her second look of the day in a Greek Goddess inspired floor length white and black gown that was covered in a black mesh overlay as she gave a smile to the awaiting photographers. After making her arrival to the exciting event, the “Desperate Housewives” actress tweeted photos and updates including, “Just landed at Cannes, ready for 3 exciting Electric days at the Festival with L’Oréal Paris! @insideloreal.” The brunette beauty added, “Just arrived at the red carpet #Cannes2012 signing autographs!” Both actresses are attending the annual event as L’Oreal Paris brand ambassadors.

The evening event was organized so Gisele could debut her Diva, Wish, and Rococó lines for the brand. She’s the face and body of the intimates’ ads, and also recent landed a big magazine job. Gisele Bundchen Goes Sheer to Toast Her New Designs
Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith haven’t been photographed together on a red carpet in more than a year. They were photographed a handful of times in candid situations over the past year, but there really was a reason for the tabloids’ insistence that all was not well in the Smith marriage: they were rarely, if ever, together. But something happened over the past month, or maybe even the past few weeks. The pessimist in me says that the only thing that’s happened is Will Smith’s promotional tour for Men In Black III . The optimist in me (she’s suffocating!) says that maybe Will and Jada have worked out some of their problems. Whatever is happening, Jada has joined Will on the European leg of the MIB III promotion. I’m including photos of Will and Jada in Paris (Jada in the black dress with the fringe skirt), and then in Madrid, where Jada wore white to the premiere, and then she and Will went to the match of the Madrid Masters between Czech Tomas Berdych and Swiss Roger Federer (Federer won!). My body language e-meter says that Will and Jada still need to work out some stuff. They seem so… awkward with each other. I mean… maybe I’m just overanalyzing this stuff. But they still seem kind of “off” right? But I guess it speaks volumes that Jada has joined Will on the tour, and that they’re still posing together and setting up tennis photo-ops. Brandi Glanville has a new interview in an Australian publication (via Radar), and I have to admit, I really like the way Brandi comes across here. I’m Team Brandi by default, because LeAnn Rimes is so incredibly insane, but in the past I’ve had my doubts about Brandi’s part in keeping this C-list Bermuda Triangle alive. She’s very graphic in this interview, both about her own sexuality and about her anger towards LeAnn. She doesn’t seem like the most mature person, true – but she seems really honest about everything. Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville doesn’t hold anything back in an explosive new Q&A with Australia’s NW HQ magazine, including a bombshell revelation that she once felt like killing ex-husband Eddie Cibrian’s new wife LeAnn Rimes after the country singer surfaced at one of her son’s soccer practices. “I remember walking up to soccer practice and there she was with my baby in her lap,” Brandi — who has two sons with Eddie, Mason and Jake — told the magazine. “My blood was boiling, and I thought I was going to kill her. I really thought I was going to physically hurt her. But that was the first time I saw her that way — she was sitting in my soccer chair, under my tent, she’s got my kid on her lap and she’s with my husband, and that was that little moment of total irrational fury.” Brandi, 39, says tempers have cooled off on that front. “We’re never going to be best friends, but she’s good to my kids, they love her and that’s all I could ask for,” Brandi said. “If they didn’t like her, I’d be in court right now, fighting. Robert Pattinson celebrated his 26th birthday at Claridge’s Hotel in London this evening. He played host to friends like Hugh Jackman and a pregnant Sienna Miller . It was back to the city for Robert after he spent the weekend with Kristen Stewart in the English countryside, where she was busy with press duties for Snow White and the Huntsman . The duo stayed together at the Bailiffscourt Hotel in West Sussex, England, a spot just 15 minutes from Kristen’s work duties at Arundel Castle. The last week has been extra busy for Kristen.
