Kristen Stewart Embraces Topless Scene

Here’s Kristen Stewart in Cannes at the photo call for her movie, On The Road… And this is about as lively as we normally see her look… But Kristen is leaving her inhibitions in the wind on the big screen… literally… Her free-spirited character reportedly appears topless in the upcoming film, and this super reserved Twilight star was apparently all for it. The actress reportedly told a Cannes press conference that she loves pushing and scaring herself, and always wants to get as close to an experience as she can… Well, as we can see, the 22-year-old does have a hard time living out average day-to-day experiences… The SWATH star says she was able to get into her On the Road character during a four-week actor’s boot camp in Montreal, where she got to live more than she usually does in her life…

Prince William: “There’s not much wriggle room left for me to find my own path”

I got my new issue of Vogue a few days ago, and when I sat down to read it (cover-to-cover, because that’s how I roll), I was surprised by several articles about Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee and the 2012 Olympics. This was American Vogue , not Vogue UK – I didn’t really understand why Anna Wintour is suddenly such an Anglophile. But I guess this year (or more specifically, this summer) is all about the UK since they’ll be hosting the two biggest media events of the year. So, for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee, there are now a bajillion documentaries, TV specials, interviews, articles, etc about the Queen and her reign. One of those documentaries is called Elizabeth: Queen, Wife, Mother (in that order). It will air in the UK, and hopefully here in the US too (because many Americans have affection for Ol’ Liz). The documentary is said to be pretty comprehensive, and they did get a long interview with Prince William. He mostly talks about his grandmother and only a little bit about his wedding: On the eve of his April 29, 2011 wedding, Prince William didn’t get much shuteye. “[The crowds] were singing and cheering all night long, so the excitement of that, the nervousness of me and everyone singing — I slept for about half an hour,” the 29-year-old royal tells TV host Alan Titchmarsh in Elizabeth: Queen, Wife, Mother, airing in the U.K. June 1. Sleepiness was the least of his worries, however. “The hardest thing was trying to walk down the stairs with my spurs on, sideways. I had visions of myself and my brother [Prince Harry] colliding and crashing down the stairs.” In the months leading up to his big day, “there was very much a subdued moment when I was handed a list with 777 names on it — not one person I knew or Catherine knew,” William recalls. “I went to [Queen Elizabeth] and said, ‘Listen, I’ve got this list, not one person I know — what do I do?’ And she went, ‘Get rid of it. Start from your friends and then we’ll add those we need to in due course. It’s your day.’” In addition to talking about his stylish wife, 30, William also opens up about the tight bond he has with his grandmother, 86. “We’re definitely a lot closer than we used to be. I think being a small boy it’s very daunting seeing the Queen around and not really quite knowing what to talk about or what to ask her.” He adds: “I think over the years that’s got a lot better. I’ve grown up — hopefully — a little bit and tried to understand a bit more about her role and my own role.” Knowing he’s destined to become the King of England one day, William admits: “There’s not much wriggle room left for me to try and find my own path, but I will do. It’s just a matter of learning what’s gone before me.” “Everyone’s fascinated by the Queen’s life and how she’s done it. And I would just hope that a bit of what she’s done and a bit of what she’s achieved, and a bit of how she’s conducted herself, we all take away in our own lives and try and do it ourselves,” William says. “I would like to take all of her experiences, all of her knowledge and put it in a small box and to be able to constantly refer to it.” [From Us Weekly ] My mother is royalist and an Anglophile, except she absolutely loathes Prince Charles and Camilla. I only recently got her to admit that, yes, Prince William is growing more and more like his father. Can’t you see it? We want to think that William is like his mother, with her warmth and emotional intelligence, but… there’s something cold about William. To me – maybe that’s just how I’m interpreting it. He still seems so “Woe is me” about becoming King one day – and what does this mean? “There’s not much wriggle room left for me to try and find my own path, but I will do.” Meaning what, exactly? Everything about his reign has already been set in stone because poor William doesn’t get to make his own choices? That if he’d had his way, he would have lived his life very differently? How differently? He’s almost 30 years old and he’s managed to never work as a full-time royal. I’m not denigrating his military career – but even William’s father managed to have a (similar) military career while still being a full-time royal/public servant. Katy Perry to feature Russell Brand divorce in movie documentary

'I decided to put everything into the film': Katy Perry to feature failed marriage to Russell Brand in forthcoming movie documentary PUBLISHED: 14:48 GMT, 22 May 2012 | UPDATED: 15:33 GMT, 22 May 2012 They've never confirmed the reasons for the dissolution of their marriage in anything but the vaguest terms. But all that could change in the wake of a new film that will feature Katy Perry's doomed union with Russell Brand. The 27-year-old opened up to Ellen on her show about her new film, Part of Me, and how she decided to show a realistic account of her life in the feature, including her relationship with Russell Continue reading

Katy Perry broke up w/Robert Ackroyd, says concert movie will talk about Russell

Last week, Russell Brand appeared on the “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and skillfully fielded questions about his estranged wife, Katy Perry, whom he claims to only have love and positivity for . Of course, Russell is at least partially full of crap because no one resorts to divorce when only positive feelings are attached to the marriage, but whatever. Now Katy is appearing on Today’s episode of “Ellen” to promote her upcoming horror flick 3-D concert movie, Katy Perry: Part Of Me , and she claims that she’ll be revealing “ all sides of her life ” with the movie. Should Russell be afraid? Katy Perry on her film Part of Me Ellen: Like you said, you shot the good, the bad. Who knows what’s going to happen in your life when you start shooting things? You got married during that time. Katy: I did. Ellen: And then that didn’t turn out to last and that part of it is still in there? Katy: I thought it was important for me..First of all, I thought it was important to show everything in between. I think sometimes people think that we’re perfect and we know we’re not perfect, at all. I think it’s important start breaking down the idea that to achieve your dream you always have to be perfect or flawless or live in some kind of fantasy world. So that’s why I decided to put everything into the film. In the most tasteful way. But mostly it’s about how I go there and the ride along the way which can be bumpy but mostly it was extremely fun… [From "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" ] Eh. I suspect that this movie is strictly (at least from the looks of the trailer ) sugar-coated for Katy’s tweenaged fanbase, so Russell probably won’t be dragged through the mud except to say that Katy is “sad” about her failed marriage. In other words, there will be no talk of wheelchair pr0n in this concert movie. Meanwhile, Katy’s first real post-marriage “fling” has ended. Even though she called him her “boyfriend,” she and Robert Ackroyd (guitarist of Florence + the Machine) have ended their Coachella-based romance . So says E! Online: This fling has flung. Katy Perry is once again single and ready to mingle after E! News confirms that Russell Brand’s estranged wife called it quits with her rebound rocker beau, Florence + the Machine guitarist Robert Ackroyd. The pair weren’t together long, only going public with their coupling at last month’s Coachella Music Festival, but over the weekend, Katy was already on the arm of a “smokin’” hot other… But not like that! The newly single “Part of Me” singer turned up at the Billboard Music Awards last night—where she debuted her new song, “Wide Awake,” ostensibly about her ex-husband—with no less a red carpet companion than her own grandma, Ann Hudson. “My date to tonight’s Billboard Music Awards is hotter than the las vegas weather,” the 27-year-old tweeted before the ceremony. “SMOKIN’!” So cute! As for her new unattached status, don’t expect Perry to be pining away. “It wasn’t serious,” a source told E! News. “She likes him a lot, but it was just a distraction. It was very short-lived, she’s still dealing with getting over her marriage and it’s going to take her a while to truly be able to trust anyone again.” In other words, he’s not exactly the one who got away. “Whe is remaining friends with Rob, but they were never serious to begin with, and she had doubts about it from the start. There are no hard feelings, they are both just very busy and had no expectations. Rob is a good guy, but she just wants to focus on her work.” [From E! Online ] So I guess this is maybe why Katy took her grandma as her official date to the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday evening? I’d like to think she took grandma along for the ride as a sweet gesture and not because she “needed” a red-carpet companion. Hopefully, that’s the case. Photos courtesy of Fame/Flynet and “Ellen”

Samantha Brick is back and she’s promoting submissive, trophy-wife marriages

*Samantha Brick and her French husband, Pascal. Back in early April, we were inundated by The Most Gorgeous, Amazing and Maligned Woman In The World, a Daily Mail columnist/essayist named Samantha Brick. I don’t have the willpower to go through the whole sordid history – just check out our archives . The basic gist of the “scandal” was that Samantha Brick, a average-looking woman of scant intelligence, publicly claimed that she’s been hated, criticized, held back and pushed aside by petty, jealous women all her life because all women feared her magnificent beauty and sexiness. Brick’s first Mail essay went viral, and Brick ended up doing a slew of television appearances – I thought the best appearance was on a British morning show in which an attractive feminist deconstructed and destroyed Brick’s JELLY H8R thesis bit by bit . Well, Brick is back. And you know what? I get it. The Mail is totally trolling all of us . But does that mean that we can’t call out Brick for her insanity and delusions? Why not? It’s kind of fun (if you consider rage strokes “fun”). You can read Brick’s new piece here , and here are some highlights – hint: this piece is all about how her marriage is better than yours because she submits to her controlling French husband. And her marriage is better than yours because she’s so pretty, of course. Some of my favorite quotes from the piece: *My husband sets me a £250 allowance each month for my wardrobe, I ask his permission before booking a hair appointment and discuss with him what I will have done. He even has an opinion — which I adhere to — on how I dress and what I weigh. He prefers I wear classic ladylike attire and, at 5ft 11in, he insists I tip the scale at no more than 10½ stone. In fact, he’s there when I weigh myself. *At this point, many of you will be thinking I’m little more than a trophy wife for my husband, Pascal, and you’re right. I am a trophy wife — and what’s more, I’m proud of it. Pascal has built up a very successful business, he earns more than I do and I’m lucky enough not to need to bring a salary into the home, though I still work part-time to keep my wits about me. *Pascal is a Frenchman with particularly traditional views. He is a decade older than me and unashamedly tells people he chose me for my looks. But that doesn’t make me a designer-clad airhead who’s only interested in getting my hands on his cash. People disapprove of relationships like ours because they assume love doesn’t enter the equation — that our marriage is merely an exchange of commodities: my youth and good looks for his wealth. They couldn’t be more wrong. *Whatever else the naysayers may throw at us, I’m comfortable with my trophy-wife status for two reasons: Pascal and I are deeply in love and I adore being treated like a princess. And even in these egalitarian times, many people enjoy this kind of marriage — even if most are shy of the ‘trophy wife’ tag. *I was in my mid-30s when I met my second husband, Pascal. From our first date I knew he was a man who cherished physical looks. He complimented me on my legs, my eyes, my figure. He would endlessly tell me how beautiful I was. He wasn’t attracted by my career or my bank account. Instead he viewed me as a prize to be won and, to my surprise, I found his approach seductive. Pascal likes being a proper gentleman — the idea of going Dutch in a restaurant is abhorrent to him. On our first date it was the first time anyone, other than a chauffeur, had opened a car door for me. I loved it — it made me feel special. Throughout our courtship I received flowers, and was taken to boutiques, where he would hand over his credit card. *Since the time of our blossoming romance, a day has not gone by where I haven’t made an effort with my appearance. It pains me to read that women such as Hillary Clinton feel they’ve reached an age where they no longer need make-up. *If a woman doesn’t make an effort, it’s perfectly logical that her husband will assume it’s because she feels he’s not worth making an effort for. Can you then blame a man for looking elsewhere? A trophy wife, however, would never make such a mistake. It’s part of our job description to look good and support our husbands at all times. Pascal and I understand what the other wants. It’s not something we’ve ever discussed, but we both know my role in our relationship is integral to its success. *Most of the other wives are older and are focused on their families first, their husbands a poor second. My day is organized around my husband: isn’t that what all wives should do? I know my place in the home — in the bedroom or the kitchen, I’m a consummate professional. *A man who covets a trophy wife has nothing in common with those in-touch-with-their feelings metrosexual men. Accordingly, I don’t witter on about PMT or yell at him when I’m stressed. That’s what my friends and mum are for. If I’m poorly I keep out of his way. I knew from the start he was ill-equipped to deal with me when I’m not bright and cheery. *I’d be lying if I said there weren’t downsides to being a trophy wife. I know I’ll have to maintain my figure and looks. Pascal is adamant that even as I get older, it’s no excuse to let myself go. As a younger wife, you battle against the assumption you’re a gold-digger crossing off the years until your beloved is six feet under. But I have my career and own income, so my lifestyle wouldn’t suffer if I wasn’t with Pascal. [ From The Mail ] One of her more interesting points was when she discussed her first husband, and described how she made more money than him and she ended up paying for everything in their marriage – which goes a long way to explaining how and why she ended up with a controlling bastard who provides her with financial stability (but no emotional support, it seems). It’s not that I don’t think Brick has the right to have whatever kind of marriage she wants – but I’m irritated that she seems to denigrate and deride women who make different choices, or women who just happen to be mothers or career women or, you know, any woman who doesn’t want to be weighed-in by their husband every day. Ugh. This bitch. Photos courtesy of The Mail.

Is Brandi Glanville a hard- partying, drunk Mean Girl in the new season of ‘RHOBH’?

I’m starting to grow somewhat suspicious of the strategic anti-Brandi Glanville information that Radar seems privy to. Remember, it was Radar who got the story about Brandi not getting her RHOBH promotion because Eddie Cibrian wouldn’t allow his kids to be on camera with their mother (only their step-mother) – a story which Brandi spent days refuting and bitching about in the press, mostly because it seemed like Brandi and Eddie’s private custodial issues were being aired in public. Now Radar has another suspicious story about Brandi being a “hard-partying Mean Girl” in this season of RHOBH. Eh. Eddie Cibrian’s ex-wife, Brandi Glanville, one of the stars of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, has been partying hard during filming recently and is turning into the new mean girl on the reality show, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting. As we previously reported, fellow “Housewife” Taylor Armstrong has also been hitting the bottle and had a catastrophic meltdown during a recent trip to Ojai, which left her co-stars fearing for her future if she doesn’t seek treatment for her drinking. “Brandi has been extremely chummy with Lisa Vanderpump this year,” a source close to the situation tells RadarOnline.com. “She just doesn’t seem to be in a good place right now, and she has been definitely hitting the bottle a lot harder this year during filming, which is cause for concern. Brandi becomes much more aggressive when she drinks and she is turning into the new mean girl on the show. It’s hard to tell if it’s the alcohol that is the cause for the drastic mood changes, if it’s just Brandi trying to be provocative, or if she feels pressure to act a certain way during filming.” During an episode last season, the cast went to Maui for Kyle Richards’ husband’s birthday party and Brandi admitted on camera that she had taken Xanax and had been drinking. Glanville certainly appeared to be under the influence during the episode and was slurring her words. Glanville recently revealed in an interview with Australia’s NW HQ magazine that she once felt like killing Cibrian’s new wife LeAnn Rimes after the country singer surfaced at one of her son’s soccer practices! “I remember walking up to soccer practice and there she was with my baby in her lap,” Brandi — who has two sons with Eddie, Mason and Jake — told the magazine. “My blood was boiling, and I thought I was going to kill her. I really thought I was going to physically hurt her. But that was the first time I saw her that way — she was sitting in my soccer chair, under my tent, she’s got my kid on her lap, and she’s with my husband, and that was that little moment of total irrational fury.” However, the blonde beauty went on to say that things between the country singer and herself had gotten better. “We’re never going to be best friends but she’s good to my kids, they love her and that’s all I could ask for,” Brandi said. “If they didn’t like her, I’d be in court right now, fighting. It’s not about me — it’s about them.” “What is absolutely obvious is that Brandi is extremely insecure and very unhappy. it’s truly sad to see,” the source says. “She is a totally different person than she was during the second season and it’s not for the better.” The third season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills will air this fall on Bravo. [ From Radar ] I do think that when Brandi parties, she parties hard. And I think alcohol mixed with her already TMI-laden personality probably isn’t the best combination. But maybe it’s just her storyline, I don’t know. It’s not like I watch the show. Don’t producers encourage the Real Housewives to drink to excess to help facilitate the drama? Aren’t producers looking for someone like Brandi to move the show along – a mouthy, pushy party girl? Eh. Some newish photos of Brandi and an unknown dude (unknown to me) at Andy Cohen’s book party last week: Photos courtesy of Fame/Flynet and WENN.
