Katy Perry’s Sexy New Adidas Commercial

She’s best known for her sugary-pop songs, but Katy Perry has also become quite the famous sex symbol, as evidenced in her new Adidas commercial. The “I Kissed a Girl” songstress looks amazing as she hops about in a bright pink and blue workout ensemble and works up a sweat. And of course, Ms. Perry’s look is flawless, with impeccable makeup and a hairstyle that looks like she’s ready to hit the clubs. Additionally, tennis star Caroline Wozniacki and DJ Baby G are featured in the commercial, which is the next phase of Adidas’ ad campaign. Back in March, Katy appeared in another spot, as did David Beckham.

Julianne Hough’s Glamour UK Bikini Hotness

With her new movie “Rock of Ages” set to hit theaters on June 15th, Julianne Hough landed a little added exposure via a feature in the June 2012 issue of Glamour UK magazine. The 23-year-old hottie showed off her fit and fine self in a range of summertime garb from J Crew and Anthropologie for the Coliena Rentmeester shot spread lining the pages of the article titled ’10 Ways to Rock Summer Body Confidence’. A few of Miss Hough’s pointers when it comes to getting a beach-ready body are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Glamour UK ! Switch up your routine: “During ‘Rock of Ages,’ we shot nights in Miami, and I couldn’t sleep during the day, so I worked out a lot. I ran about 4 miles on the beach every day, then would do some circuit training or some boxing and weights or Spinning. During ‘Footloose,’ I followed [trainer to the stars] Tracy Anderson’s regime, and when I’m at home in LA, I’ll do Barry’s Bootcamp and Pilates. I generally like amped-up workouts.” If you don’t love exercising, distract yourself: “If you’re going to run on the treadmill for 15 minutes, instead of just running at the same pace, do intervals. It keeps your mind busy having to go up and down with the beat and the incline, so the time goes by quickly.” Find a workout buddy: “It’s motivating to work out with my boyfriend, because we’re both very competitive [Laughs]. We’re very active, athletic people, so some of our favorite things to do are to hike and work out.”

Nicole Kidman and Faith Margaret cover Harper’s Bazaar Australia: gorgeous?

Oooooh. Nicole Kidman covers the June issue of Harper’s Bazaar Australia, and this is the cover. That’s little 18-month-old Faith in Nicole’s arms. Isn’t this a beautiful shot? I think so. Yes, Nicole is a Botox-monster who needs to STOP with the lip injections, but every now and then we can see a glimpse of the old Nicole, and how Nicole would look if she gave up her love affair with the Botox needle. This is one of those times. Plus, I just love all of the ginger. Nicole’s ginger, Faith’s ginger, it’s all beautiful. Incidentally, I love the way it seems like Nicole has chopped off her hair. Wouldn’t you love her hair so much if she cut it off and it looked like this? With regards to the cover line – I’m assuming it’s in reference to Nicole’s casting as 33-year-old Grace Kelly in Grace of Monaco . The editor of HB Australia talks about how the cover shot came to be: Truth, beauty, family. Editor Edwina McCann gets to know the real Nicole Kidman on location at BAZAAR’s August cover shoot. Nicole Kidman is no stranger to criticism. She faced plenty after the birth in December 2010 of Faith Margaret, a much-yearned for sister for Sunday Rose. Faith was famously born with the help of a “gestational carrier” as is the common term in the US. No doubt there will be those who throw yet more criticism at her for allowing her children to feature in photos in this month’s Harper’s BAZAAR. So I wanted to explain what happened behind the scenes. Kidman was booked for our cover shoot with a young Australian photographer and regular BAZAAR contributor, Will Davidson. The shoot took place a few hours out of Sydney in a country home with a perfect red dirt road, as envisioned by Davidson. Kidman arrived on time, without entourage, and even spotted the crew not a coffee but a coffee van — “my treat” — when she was told the cost was beyond the shoot budget. She was a willing photographic subject, talked to me in an unguarded and genuinely warm manner before the pictures, and later waited obligingly until dark for a specific Gucci dress to arrive. (In the end the light was so low that the shot didn’t make the cut.) Later in the afternoon, Sunday Rose and Faith arrived after their sleeps to see Mummy. Kidman didn’t want to put them down; Sunday Rose donned one of the tuxedo jackets from the clothing racks because it was getting chilly. The photographer then took some shots of Kidman with the girls solely for her family album. [Via Harper’s Bazaar Aus .] Nicole tells the editor that she was okay with the magazine using the shots of her kids: “I think it’s OK, because you can’t see their faces; they’re still protected. I feel it’s a really lovely way to celebrate being a mum and being a family, and they’re my daughters, and they’re Keith’s daughters [laughs] … you can see the hair!” See… I don’t have a problem with Nicole (or any celebrity woman) sharing photos of her kids in a magazine. I don’t have the hate-on for it that so many people do, mostly because I enjoy seeing photos of celebrities with their kids and I don’t judge that enjoyment, nor do I judge the moms who share photos. But Nicole’s quote still irritates me – she regularly gets pap’d with her youngest daughters. It happens all the time when she’s in LA. Which is fine. But don’t pretend that “you can’t see their faces” and that she doesn’t have candid photo ops with the kids when she’s got a film coming out, just like Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Garner and all of the rest of them. Here are some new shots of Nicole as a brunette, shooting The Railway Man in Scotland. Jesus, her lips. Photos courtesy of HB Australia, WENN.

Kate Moss covers Vogue UK for the 32nd time: just lovely or fully iconic?

Kate Moss covers the June issue of Vogue UK, and she looks stunning. This particular issue is themed for the Olympics with a “Going for Gold” slogan (as well as an eye towards the upcoming Jubilee), and enduringly British Kate is definitely the right model for the job. The Mail notes that the rope that’s wrapped around Kate on this cover (her 32nd for Vogue UK) is the same one that was coiled around David and Victoria Beckham for the infamous 2009 Armani sausage-king underwear ad campaign. There’s a good reason for this — the same photographers, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, shot both the Beckhams for Armani and Kate for this cover as well. So far, there isn’t much to go with in the way of interview excerpts, but the magazine has included a nice tribute of words to Kate herself: Vogue’s toast to Kate: “Kate Moss is our icon; a beautiful, untouchable, thoroughly twenty-first-century woman who remains as inscrutable as an early Renaissance heroine. While those around the 38-year-old have long testified to her earthy personality, tremendous sense of fun and filthy line in humour, she rarely speaks in public, giving her a remove from whichwe watch in awe, and allowing us to project upon her a thousand incarnations, from Grecian goddess to Little Briton to eternally dazzling cover star.” Hairtylist Malcolm Edwards on Kate’s cover look: “We were choosing between pulling her hair back really tightly and making it really sporty – since it’s the Olympics issue – and having it really glamorous to show her as the British icon she is. I was really keen to create a really iconic style and Kate was all prepped so I said ‘let’s put her in the clothes and see.’ We went with the iconic look.” [From Vogue UK ] Indeed, one could cut diamonds on Kate’s cheekbones, so the chosen hairstyle was certainly the way to go to show them off for maximum impact. The clothes here are also absolutely gorgeous too with Kate wearing a studded leather and silk Versace dress as well as a Dolce & Gabbana number that’s embedded with Swarovki crystals. Forget the creepy, sacreligious photo shoots of recent days, for Kate hasn’t looked this good in years. Le Moss is back! Photos courtesy of Vogue UK and The Fashion Spot

Victoria, Harper, and the Beckham Boys Cheer On Their Guy David

Victoria Beckham held up her daughter Harper to cheer on David Beckham at his LA Galaxy game outside LA on Saturday. Unfortunately, the home team lost to the visiting New York Red Bulls, but it wasn’t for lack of support from the Beckham crew. Victoria and David’s three sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz were also there to cheer on dad. Despite the defeat, it’s been a big week for the family. David and Victoria were caught on the kiss cam at a Lakers game ahead of his 37th birthday. David shared a peek into his celebration, which included lots of presents from his kids and dinner out with his visiting mom. View Slideshow ›

Michelle Pfeiffer Covers Parade May 2012

With her new movie “Dark Shadows” set to hit theaters on May 11th, Michelle Pfeiffer amped up promotions by landing the cover of the May 2012 issue of Parade magazine. The 53-year-old actress got candid with the weekly publication while dishing on everything from starring opposite younger male co-stars and preparing for an empty nest. Highlights from Miss Pfeiffer’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Parade ! On what drives her to succeed: “I don’t know if it’s naïveté or just narcissism, but I start out with this notion that I can do anything. It’s not until I get into it that I realize what I’ve thrown myself into, and then I will do anything not to humiliate myself. And that, I think, is the secret to my success.” On acting opposite younger leading men: “They get younger and younger. I went from Ashton (Kutcher) to Rupert (Friend) to Zac Efron in New Year’s Eve. If I keep on like this, I’m going to get into X-rated material! Well, that’s what happens with men and their leading ladies, right? I was acting in The Russia House opposite Sean Connery when he was turning 60. [Pfeiffer was 32.]” On which is harder: parenting or acting: “Being a parent is the hardest thing in the world … the psychological toll it takes on you because these lives are in your hands. I take it very seriously. Just when you think you’ve got your kids figured out, they change on you. For somebody who’s controlling, you can’t control it. Of course, I don’t think I’m controlling, but that’s what I’ve been told!” On preparing for an empty nest: “People make a lot of jokes about the empty nest. Let me tell you, it is no laughing matter. It is really hard. Claudia’s in her first year of college. She’s doing great. My son is applying to colleges now. I remember reading an interview with Dustin Hoffman; his first child had just gone off to college, and he said, “Nobody talks about their [empty] room.” I feel like I’m going to cry just thinking about it. [pause] Are you hot? I am. Or am I having a big hot flash? Did I really just say that? That will be a headline; I can see it. [laughs]”
