Should Brad and Angelina’s names even be mentioned in this post because, obviously, Jennifer and Justin’s love is the real thing and they don’t CARE about anyone else who is getting engaged or anything? Jennifer Aniston and boyfriend Justin Theroux are planning a wedding thousands of miles away from Hollywood … TMZ has learned. Sources connected with the Elounda Beach Hotel in Crete (where Aniston’s dad was born, located about 230 miles south of Greece) tell TMZ … Aniston was there recently, scoping the place out. Our sources say Aniston mentioned a July wedding. The hotel website boasts a wedding package that includes: – A dedicated consultant – Legal, License Paperwork Requirements – Civil or Religious Ceremony outside of the Hotel’s Church – Bridal Bouquet, Groom’s Boutonniere, decoration of the club car – Bottle of champagne & Greek Wedding Sweets after the ceremony for the bride & groom You get all that, plus a series of other complimentary services, for about $2,300. Aniston made that for roughly 2 seconds of work on “Friends.” BTW, one of the hotel big wigs says Aniston hasn’t settled on his hotel for the nuptials … as he put it, “She has connections on the other side of the island as well.” [ From TMZ ] Well, if Jennifer and Justin are engaged right now, I don’t think this is how we’d hear about it in an official capacity. Jennifer would totally get the cover of People Magazine – “Jennifer Aniston: ENGAGED… Seven Years After Brad!” But this TMZ report certainly adds to the buzz. It actually sort of reminds me of something… remember when Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson announced their engagement back in November of 2010 ? They announced their engagement a week after Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo announced theirs. It was a pretty obvious move, an attempt to steal focus, to steal your ex’s thunder. First and foremost, I am not cosigning this National Enquirer story. As I’ve already said in two of my previous post-Brangelina-engagement stories , I do think Jennifer Aniston is in a good place right now, I think she’s happy with Justin Theroux, and I really don’t think that she’s actively looking to throw herself a giant pity party over her ex-husband’s engagement. That being said, I did enjoy this Enquirer story for it’s sheer melodrama, and for making Aniston sound like an image-obsessed PR genius. According to the Enquirer , Brad Pitt called Aniston to let her know about the engagement a week before he announced it. And after Jennifer “collapsed” in a fit of tears, she picked herself up and arranged for several planted items about how “happy” she is with Justin. Genius! Jennifer Aniston collapsed when Brad Pitt called her to break the news that he’s marrying Angelina Jolie, sources say. Despite her broken heart, Jen quickly shifted into damage control and publicly boasted about her own happy love life, according to insiders. “Brad called Jen the first week of April to tip her off about the engagement,” revealed a source close to Aniston. “Brad said, ‘I wanted you to hear it first from me. I asked Angelina to marry me and she said yes.’” “The news hit Jennifer like a ton of bricks. Jen never actually believed that Brad would actually marry Angie. Even though she was in a state of shock, she didn’t want to let Brad know how heartbroken she was. But as soon as they got off the phone, Jen burst into tears and collapsed! She just sank to the ground in a heap.” After her phone conversation with Brad, Jennifer was sobbing and pouring over mementos of their life together when her current beau, edgy actor screenwriter Justin Theroux, found her, added the source. “Rather than being supportive, Justin blew up at Jen for continuing to obsess over Brad,” the source said. “It was awful. Jen needed comforting, but Justin was too hurt and angry. He accused Jen of still being in love with Brad, and they wound up having a huge fight.” But Jen bounced back. In a true masterstroke, she made a glowing reference to Justin in a magazine interview that hit newsstands shortly before Brad’s engagement was announced. “Jen obviously knew the engagement announcement was coming… it was no coincidence that her own story was leaked right beforehand.” Then, after Brad and Angie made their announcement official, Jen had her PR team put out word that she was “happy” for the couple – even though she has called Angelina “really uncool” over her hookup with Brad. Added the first source: “Jen’s public face is very different to her private one over Angie. Aniston said that “protector” stuff long before she knew about the engagement. Plus, that’s just the way she talks. She wasn’t angling – that’s how she is. Now, she totally had her publicist plant the E! and the People Magazine stories this week, though. Enquirer: Jennifer Aniston “collapsed” when she heard about Brad’s engagement

Seven years after the most talked about affair in Tinseltown, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have confirmed they are indeed engaged and – although it might be hailed the most anticipated celebrity wedding of all time – there is one celebrity who doesn’t care to hear any of the details. Brad’s ex-wife Jennifer Aniston has been rumored to still have feelings for the actor over the years, but it seems to not be the case anymore. Upon learning about the engagement, an Aniston pal assured E! News, “She doesn’t care. She really doesn’t. She’s happy with Justin [Theroux]. She’ll probably marry him. She’s moved on. People don’t want to believe it, but she has.” Aniston was reportedly at home when she found out Brangelina are set to wed, as another source revealed, “She was happy and hanging out with her man”. It seems the 43-year-old actress has really been enjoying her year long relationship with Theroux, and she recently opened up about their relationship, telling Australia’s Marie Claire, “He’s a protector, for sure, he’s just a good human being, and so funny.”

Jennifer Aniston "Doesn’t Care" About Brangelina Engagement

Lately anytime Amanda Bynes is behind the wheel, she finds herself getting into trouble with the law. After being slapped with a DUI arrest on Friday April 6th, the former child star attracted a lot of attention again when she set out for a drive Sunday night in West Hollywood. Bynes was spotted around 10:30 p.m. “holding up traffic and doing an incredibly slow 3-point turn in the middle of Robertson [Blvd.],” an eyewitness revealed to People, and that wasn’t the only headache she caused. Eyewitnesses also say, “She looked wobbly – I guess it could have been the heels since she was wearing sky-high nude pumps, but she did seem out of it.” The 26-year-old must have been out of it because she neglected to pay the valet, forcing workers to chase her down inside SUR restaurant and bar for the $8.00 fee. Despite her recent driving problems, Amanda’s father is jumping to her defense – saying the actress is “a good girl” who does not drink. Once reports of Bynes’ DUI arrest hit the web, her father said, “She was not drunk. I was told that she blew a zero on the Breathalyzer. She didn’t have a single drink that night. My daughter doesn’t drink.”

Blood-sucking hottie Paul Wesley was in New York City today (April 16) to talk to SiriusXM Radio about his show “The Vampire Diaries.” The dreamy actor rocked his usual spiked hair-do with a black button-up under a grey blazer while keeping it casual with a pair of jeans as he was seen walking out the doors of the studio. He was a busy man today while also appearing on this morning’s episode of “Live With Kelly,” where he talked about showing a bit less skin explaining that he just doesn’t have the extra time to stay extremely fit. “I called the producers and said, ‘Guys, listen. You know, we’re shooting like 15 hour days. I can’t go to the gym, I can’t do this. I’m taking a little break. I just can’t handle it. The bench press, I’m getting weak!,’” Paul told Miss Ripa. He added, “the ratings may tank.” We doubt it! The next episode of TVD “Heart of Darkness” shows Stefan dealing with a trip shared between his love, Elena and brother Damon. Check it out.

Spotted out for the first time since announcing her engagement, Angelina Jolie was in Los Angeles this afternoon (April 16) seen entering the Roosevelt Hotel. The 36-year-old actress looked gorgeous in an olive colored cotton dress, adding a tan handbag and shoes to her apparel as she exited her car and hurried into her destination. Brad Pitt finally popped the question to the brunette beauty after dating for many years and the question on everyone’s mind is getting the details on the gorgeous diamond, which she flaunted during today’s rendezvous. To answer the question, the rock was designed by jeweler Robert Procop for more than a year and it’s estimated in value at $500,000. It sparkles at a stunning 16-carats while the center stone is a 7-carat emerald-cut diamond with an additional 9 carats of emerald-cut diamonds surrounding the band. She sure is one lucky lady!

Angelina Jolie’s Post-Engagement Outing

Instead of going into any further thoughts that I have about Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s engagement , I just wanted to tell you my mother’s take. She’s not a Brangeloonie – she likes Brad and Angelina okay, but she thinks they have “issues.” I gave her the low-down on the ring and all of the gossip about the engagement, and her thoughts were: 1) Brad better have given her a huge rock, because she’s already had his babies and the rock should have grown in proportion with each kid; 2) They won’t have any more biological kids because Angelina’s body can’t take any more, but they’ll adopt again after they marry; 3) They’ll definitely get married overseas, probably in France or “…like, Thailand or something…” my mother said vaguely. I love how everyone has an opinion, a theory, an angle – and I don’t think my mom is far off the mark. So in lieu of actual news about Brad and Angelina’s wedding plans, we get all of the stuff that’s left in the gossip vacuum. Every site is running “Brangelina through the years” pieces, like everyone hasn’t analyzed every piece of their relationship to death already. And of course, people want to know how Jennifer Aniston is reacting to the news, “Seven Years After Brad!” (That will be the People Magazine cover, just you watch!) To Aniston’s credit, she has not issued any public statements, nor has she stepped out for a convenient photo op with Justin this weekend. So Hollywood Life just had to make up a story about her: No hurt feelings in this engagement! Jennifer Aniston couldn’t be happier for Brad and Angelina, sources tell HollywoodLife.com exclusively. It sounds like there will finally be a happy ending to what seemed like a neverending Jen, Brad and Angelina love triangle! The Engagement: Brad & Angelina Over the Past 7 Years

I’m pretty sure (positive, actually) that Marie Claire Australia is using a photo shoot that we’ve seen before. Do you mind if I don’t care enough to look it up? I know I’ve seen this Jennifer Aniston cover shot before, and recently. Maybe InStyle or Allure or something . Oh, it’s from an old Elle Magazine photo shoot . But! From what I can see, the interview is new. Jennifer talks about her boyfriend Justin Theroux and how she’s always on guard and stuff. Here are some excerpts: On her boyfriend Justin Theroux: “He’s a protector, for sure. He’s just a good human being, and so funny.” On being secluded while filming Wanderlust: “All of a sudden I began decompressing. It’s weird, but it felt like living a normal life; almost like having your anonymity back. Nobody bothered us and we were protected as a group. There were no paparazzi and no secret, tricky little cell phone pictures being taken. I realized how paranoid and guarded and not trusting – walled-in – I had become. Not consciously so, but just this armor that I kind of have, protective armor. It’s not for my friends or family, but for being outside in the world, always on guard.” On not wanting to be so guarded: “I’ve really made a conscious effort to not wall myself up like that again. I built those walls pretty high in the past. I think you miss out on a lot of stuff when you’re so protected and isolated.” On shooting a topless scene for the film: “There are always nerves when you shoot a scene like that. But the adrenaline takes you through it and then you have the girls come in and cover you up immediately. I got very comfortable with seeing nude people, pretty much immediately. It was bizarre to know that these were actually nudists – because there’s a nudist colony in Clarkesville – and how comfortable they are being nude.” On keeping in good health: “I think being happy and smiling and laughing a lot helps. I work out, I drink a lot of water. And yoga is still very important. I love it. If I don’t do it then my spirit sort of goes.” [Via Just Jared and Celebrity Gossip ] I rolled my eyes at the “walling herself up” comments, but not the Justin Theroux stuff. Sure, her privacy does get invaded all the time, and that really, really sucks for her. But she also arranges some of those “candid” photo shoots that she’s complaining about – remember all of those shots of her and John Mayer? Remember all of the conveniently-timed outings over the years? As for the Justin-as-protector stuff… I think Jennifer is just like that as a person, and she’s especially like that with men – always looking for a protector, always ensconced in her victimhood and her own fragility. It’s not some epic thing – a lot of women are like that, in my opinion. By the way, the editor of Vogue UK gave a very interesting interview recently, and she mentioned why we’ve never seen Aniston on the cover of Vogue UK , and why we never will. Interestingly enough, the last time Aniston was on Vogue US was the “Angelina is uncool” incident, where Aniston said those words in an interview, then she threw Vogue under the bus for printing her on-the-record interview. Basically, she’s not going to be on American Vogue again any time soon either. Which is why an outlet like Marie Claire Australia managed to get this exclusive interview.
