The music world has been mourning the loss of BeeGees star Robin Gibb , and his brother and bandmate Robin Gibb just posted a moving tribute on YouTube. Set to the song “Heart Like Mine,” the video is titled “Bodding” which was a fond nickname for the late Gibb. The emotional tribute contains a series of footage from the Gibb boys when they were young, all the way up through their rise to super rock stardom. Robin Gibb died last weekend, and Barry is understandably “said to be heartbroken” during this difficult time.

Lovingly walking hand in hand, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were spotted leaving the “Lady Joy” boat in Cannes on Wednesday (May 23). The 31-year-old reality star smiled and gave a slight wave to cameras as she made her way off the luxury water vessel while wearing a cleavage-bearing nude dress and strappy white heels with her rapper beau opting for a an all-black ensemble. The sighting comes as it was recently revealed that Kanye has been giving Kim some fashion advice and would like to see her channel Duchess of Cambridge Catherine Middleton’s sense of style by sporting a more natural look. “Kanye does like to get involved with Kim’s look. He actually has a lot of input, he has amazing style so we take his opinions to heart and I say, ‘Okay, I’ll try it’,” Kim’s stylist Rob Scheppy was quoted as saying. The rapper-turned-fashion-designer reportedly dislikes how much makeup Kim wears on a daily basis, and he’s letting her know, “Kanye’s not afraid to say what he likes. He definitely likes the less-is-more look. Everyone wants to look good for their man, so Kim will listen and say, ‘Okay. I’ll go with what my boyfriend says’,” Scheppy added.

Tending to their French promotional duties, the cast of “Holy Motors” was spotted at a photocall for the 65th Cannes Film Festival today (May 23). Kylie Minogue looked fabulous as she hammed it up for the paparazzi outside the Palais des Festivals in a green and black dress with black peep-toe heels. The Aussie actress/singer was joined by Elise Lhomeau, Jeanne Disson, Denis Lavant, Edith Scob, and director Leos Carax ahead of the big premiere later today. “Holy Motors” is scheduled to be released on July 4th, and also stars “We Own The Night” hottie Eva Mendes .

Last night’s season finale was nothing short of spectacular, and the finalists from “Dancing with the Stars” were in the house at “Good Morning America” today (May 23). Season champion Donald Driver and his partner Peta Murgatroyd were riding high on their victory as they chatted about their big win, joined by Katherine Jenkins, Mark Ballas , William Levy, and Cheryl Burke . When asked about his ‘end zone’ style dance upon being crowned the champ, Donald shared, “I was on fire, so I had to roll around to get the fire out. That’s what it was.” And as for what turned the tides for their favor with the judges, Peta noted, “I think it could have been [the freestyle]. I think we made a really good choice in what we wanted to portray with the freestyle. And we went all out with the country and did something different. She’s due to give birth in September, and Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi has just announced she’s having a boy. The “Jersey Shore” starlet and her fiance Jionni LaValle are thrilled to be expecting, though Snooki confessed she was aiming to have a girl. “I thought it was going to be a girl. I was hoping it would be, because all girls want girls. It’s still my baby, no matter what. I’m excited either way.” As for her delivery room attire, Polizzi noted, “I want to wear, like, leopard shoes and a leopard gown — like the hospital gowns that they have. I think that would be cute.”

Gisele Bundchen might be pregnant again. Allegedly. I remember there was some minor gossip around the post-Met Gala news/gossip dump that somebody heard their neighbor’s boyfriend’s hairdresser mention that he had a friend who told him that Gisele might be pregnant, but I didn’t really believe it. It’s not that I don’t think Gisele would or will get pregnant with her second child – I believe her when she talks about wanting a larger family, and considering how “easy” her first pregnancy was with now two-and-half-year-old Ben, I’m guessing Gisele doesn’t see pregnancy as any kind of hardship. But is she really pregnant again? I don’t know. This current round of rumors seems to be originating in Brazil and now the gossip is getting picked up by American outlets. Brazilian sources say Gisele was just in Sao Paulo and she was telling friends and colleagues the “happy news.” There’s also gossip that Gisele’s dressers (for various fashion events) have noticed changes in her figure. I’m including our most recent photos of her, one set from May 7th (the Met Gala in NYC) and one set from May 15th (Gisele was in Brazil, promoting her new lingerie line). I don’t think she looks like she’s “showing” in either set of photos, but allegedly she’s still in the early stages. I will say this – in the Met Gala photos, Gisele’s boobs seem a bit bigger, although it could just be the dress. Considering Gisele and Tom Brady haven’t confirmed anything, I’m still a bit suspicious. But then again, they haven’t explicitly denied anything either. So… we’ll see. My guess is that she is knocked up but it’s still really early and they’ll wait to publicly confirm the news until she’s about four months along and/or showing. Are Gisele Bundchen & Tom Brady expecting their second child together?

These are photos of Nicole Kidman arriving in the South of France yesterday. Her new film, The Paperboy , debuts at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday, and I’m expecting more photos of Nicole throughout the next few days. The Paperboy also stars Zac Efron, which… I mean… really? Nicole the Botox-Monster and Zac Efron, Permanent Jailbait (yes, I know he’s of age but his face always says “jailbait” to me). The film is being described in some quarters as an “explosive sexual thriller” . I tried reading the (spoiler-ridden) Wiki synopsis of the book , but I got kind of confused as to who does what. Oh, and the film also stars Matthew McConaughey and John Cusack. Maybe Nicole gets it on with one of them (hopefully?). But for now, let’s talk about Nicole’s new look. And by that I mean BANGS. I’ve been confused before with some ladies’ bangs – I have a hard time figuring out if some women are wearing clip-on bangs or if they actually chopped their hair into some kind of traumatic situation. I don’t know what Nicole is doing, but I suspect this is her real hair and she really did give herself bangs. Now, Nicole has done bangs to varying degrees of success in the past – the best of which (in my opinion) was back when she was styling herself like Brigitte Bardot, and the bangs added to her kittenishness. This current look, however, is kind of… not all that. I realize that she probably just got off the plane, etc. But how are these limp, flat-ironed-looking bangs somehow preferable to a simple bun or ponytail? Nicole Kidman arrives in France, debuts new bangsy hairstyle: cute or awful?

I know I promised not to go overboard with Diane Kruger photos during our Cannes Film Festival coverage, but in my defense, Diane is one of the few higher-profile celebrity women at Cannes this year. Sure, there have been lots of ladies and lots of fashion moments, but most of the ladies are really budget, and lots of the fashion has been really boring. Thus, I keep talking about Diane. These are pics of Diane and Joshua Jackson supporting Diane’s Inglorious Basterd buddy Brad Pitt at last night’s premiere of Killing Them Softly . No, she didn’t come out just to support Brad – she’s on the jury. Diane’s gown is Nina Ricci. I think we should give her more credit for wearing lots of different designers throughout the festival, right? I think we should also give The House of Nina Ricci credit for designing a beautiful gown that, upon first glance, I was sure was Chanel. Honestly, I think this is a lot prettier than most of crap Karl Lagerfeld is doing these days. As for Joshua – so, so cute. Cassie in Roberto Cavalli at the Killing Them Softly premiere. You know what? This kind of works. Granted, her hair is ridiculous. But as a whole look, I kind of get it. And I like it. Michelle Rodriguez at the Killing Them Softly premiere. I think Michelle is so beautiful, but this dress is terrible on her. It looks like an ill-fitting wedding gown. Another Michelle photo, from two nights ago, at the Chopard event. Good color on her, but dress, though. Kelly Brook at a Chopard event two nights ago – I like the color on her, her body looks amazing, but the look as a whole is kind of off. I can’t decide if I’m seeing too much of her foundation garments or she needs MORE. Irina Shayk in Roberto Cavalli at a photo call for de Grisogono. Pretty girl, nice figure, but she’s one of the girls that I find so interchangeable. I wouldn’t be able to pick her out of a lineup of Victoria’s Secret models. Diane Kruger in pale Nina Ricci in Cannes: gorgeous & stunning?

It’s only been a little over a year since we first reported that Joaquin Phoenix was preparing to return to “serious” acting in the latest Paul Thomas Anderson project — the rumored anti-Scientology film also starring Philip Seymour Hoffman that is now known by its proper name, The Master . If all goes as planned, then Anderson will probably end up reinvigorating Joaquin’s career after a few years of willfull douchiness. Remember back in 2009 when he looked like this? Poor Casey Affleck’s bank account will never be the same after he collaborated with Joaquin on their coke-snorting, hooker-hiring, faux documentary , I’m Still Here . Whatever happened to Casey? He’s been in a few indie movies since directing (and financing) Joaquin doing a poor imitation of Andy Kaufman, and now Joaquin himself is poised to make a comeback. Just check out his face (!) in the trailer for The Master below: This trailer gives me the same creepy feeling of impending dread that I felt while watching There Will Be Blood and Magnolia . The movie is set in the 1950s and revolves around a disciple of a faith-based organization that is pretty much Scientology in its infancy. I suspect that a lot of people who watch the trailer aren’t picking up on the CO$ vibes, but they’re definitely hidden in there quite nicely. Of course PTA isn’t dumb enough to actually make a movie that simply shouts, “Hey, this is about Scientology!” Yet I’ll bet some of you who’ve done extensive reading on the cult will know what I’m talking about without me getting all pedantic about the details. Certainly, Paul Thomas Anderson has geared this movie to focus upon his own views of religion in general, which he’s made no secret of in the past. Even for those who aren’t completely into the subject matter, it’s sure to be a compelling film. PTA, who is a true auteur in every sense of the word, even shot this thing on on 65 mm film , which is basically unheard of these days. For the curious, Blackbook has some behind the scenes photos of several of the movie’s supporting players, and here are some peeks at the gorgeous set on Mare Island, California. Now back to the trailer: does Joaquin Phoenix bring it after years of Unabomber-esque ridiculousness, or is he past redemption? Joaquin Phoenix stars in ‘The Master’ trailer: is he earning his rep back?

After previously giving up too much information, John Mayer is now saying he regrets the details he shared about his intimate life with Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson . On Saturday (May 19), the “Shadow Days” singer admitted to NPR’s “All Things Considered” that he didn’t necessarily mean to be that open adding, “I had nothing to say,” adding, “I was going through a time in my life where I didn’t really want to share what was going on, but I didn’t want to be boring.” As many recall, the Grammy award-winning artist first told Rolling Stone magazine he had “never really gotten over” the breakup with his “Horrible Bosses” lady and described the difficult ending as “one of the worst times” in his life. After dishing about Aniston, Mayer then went on to reveal further details about Miss Simpson in an interview with Playboy describing their relationship by saying, it “was like crack cocaine to me. Sexually, it was crazy… It was like napalm, sexual napalm.” Now that the 34-year-old has had about two years to think about his comments he says he ‘understands’ where the backlash came from and probably won’t be as open the next time saying, “When you’re just open, but not honest, then you start free-associating garbage,” also adding, “It doesn’t mean I can go back and scrub it out, but I understand it now.” On a career note, John has been hard at work on his new album “Born and Raised” and you can check it out when it hits stores this Tuesday (May 22).
