The ladies hit the red carpet in gorgeous gowns while the guys were dapper as usual in their sexy suits. Inside the show got funny with help from The Bridesmaids cast and cute when Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt shared PDA in the front row. Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber took advantage of their trip away from cold NYC to hit the beach in Sydney with their sons Sasha and Samuel yesterday. The family of four is off on a vacation down under visiting Naomi’s native Australia. They arrived there about a week ago, just in time to celebrate Australia Day at a family barbecue. The getaway comes during a break in work for both Naomi and Liev. She’s gearing up for a return to the big screen in The Grandmothers with Robin Wright as well as While We’re Young with Ben Stiller . Liam kicked off a fun weekend on Friday when he suited up for the Australian Academy of Cinema and Television Arts Awards at Soho House. Miley didn’t join him for the red carpet, but the duo did pose together at the People’s Choice Awards earlier this month. The show is in the running for best ensemble performance by a cast in a comedy series, and Tina herself for outstanding performance by a female actor in a comedy series. Alec Baldwin is also up for the corresponding male honor. 30 Rock returned to TV just a few weeks ago, and there has been a lot of hilarity and fun for Tina’s character, Liz Lemon, ever since. Jessica Simpson and Eric Johnson shared a date night over pizza in LA yesterday. Jessica showed off her maternity style in another maxi dress. The couple are expecting their first child together, but that’s not the only project Jessica has on her plate. She and Nicole Richie have been promoting their new reality competition, Fashion Star , which will premiere on March 13. Jessica and Eric will be glued to the small screen well before her show hits, though, since the Super Bowl airs next weekend. Ryan, director Nicolas Winding Refn, and Nicolas’s wife Lix Corfixen were there to support the action film, Drive , which is screening at the event. Ryan’s girlfriend, Eva Mendes , didn’t make it since she’s in LA taking care of Ryan’s dog George. As the group headed inside, Ryan even stopped to pose with popular Thai actress Krystal Vee. Ryan is overseas working on his next project with Nicolas, Only God Forgives , which means he’s missing out on award season in the US. Ryan isn’t up for any honors at this weekend’s SAG Awards, but he still has a presence at the big show. A signed version of the pink scorpion jacket Ryan wore in Drive is up for auction along with other items and experiences relating to the year’s biggest movies – you can bid in the online SAG Awards auction until Feb. 2 at 6 p.m. PT! Blake Lively and Penn Badgley linked up with NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg this afternoon to celebrate Gossip Girl ‘s 100th episode at Silver Cup Studios in Queens. Michael issued a Mayoral Proclamation to mark the milestone for the series, which has brought jobs and acclaim to the Big Apple during its five-year run. Michael and his Media & Entertainment Commissioner Katherine Oliver also announced that 2011 was a record-setting year for small-screen production in NYC. Twenty-three series were filmed there, as opposed to just nine a decade ago. The mayor joked today, “Here’s a hot tip for Gossip Girl: Spotted – 100,000 New Yorkers making a living from the film and television industry.” The success of Gossip Girl has been great for Blake’s career, but she may have hit a minor speed bump with one of her rumored new projects. Blake might not be in The Side Effects , a Steven Soderbergh project she was linked to along with Jude Law and Channing Tatum . Since stepping out as a couple in early December they seem to be splitting their time between Jason’s home base in NYC and Olivia’s West Coast pad. Jason and Olivia celebrated New Year’s Eve together in the Big Apple and just returned from a weekend getaway to Palm Springs. Things got extra cozy for Jason and Olivia on Saturday night when strong winds knocked out the electricity at their luxury hotel. Guests were supplied with flashlights and candles to move around the property during the blackout.
