With her new movie “Men In Black III” set to hit theaters in England on May 25th, Nicole Scherzinger gave a promotional boost to the film via a feature included in the June 2012 issue of Maxim Australia magazine. The 33-year-old Hawaiian hottie is soaking wet sexy for the Marc Baptiste shot spread lining the pages while talking about dancing, growing up in Hawaii and Kentucky and revealing that her girl crush is Halle Berry . Highlights from Miss Scherzinger’s interview are as follows. For more, be sure to pay a visit to Maxim Australia ! On if a guy dancing with no cares catches her eye: “Uh, that might scare me. Sometimes guys take it too far when they’re dancing. I’d be like, ‘OK, dude. You need to settle down and have some control.’” On if she just lets the beat take over when dancing: “Yeah, I transport to another place. I don’t know what my body is gonna do. I just listen to what the music tells me and kind of blank out. I turn into a beast.” On her girl crushes: “Halle Berry. She’s just naturally gorgeous… I love her smile. Wait, I sound like a dude – I’ve got to snap out of it!” On if she kept any traditions from growing up in Hawaii and Kentucky: “I’m just a down-home Southern girl. I love making chicken and dumplings and Kentucky Derby pie. And from Hawaii I’ve got a love of paddle surfing. I love visiting family in both places.”

Matthew McConaughey and his exaggerated Southern drawl have sat down for an interview with the June issue of The Advocate to promote — what else? — Magic Mike , which has already been credited with reinvigorating some measure of McConaughey lust for both Kaiser and myself . Apparently, there’s also been a huge enthusiastic reception from the gay community towards the impending arrival of Steven Soderbergh’s male-stripper, rom-com movie starring Channing Tatum, McConaughey, Alex Pettyfer (meh), and Joe Manganiello. Is this response entirely unanticpated? Well no, but I guess my assumption was that it would appeal mostly towards women who’ve had a bad experience with male strippers and are seeking to remedy said experience. Whatever the case, Matthew is talking up the film all over the place and wants the world to know about his own striptease. Here are some excerpts from the interview: On his inspiration for Dallas in Magic Mike : “When Soderbergh first called and pitched me the part, I just laughed and said yes. On the phone, I asked, ‘Do you have any initial direction for me to go on?’ He took a deep breath and said, ‘Well, you really can’t go wrong.’ So I just took off and flew with this guy. I was going for Jim Morrison meets A Clockwork Orange , because he’s like a deity in his own mind.” On his character’s striptease: “It wasn’t in the script, but Soderbergh said in the beginning that if it felt right, I could strip at the end of the movie. I said, ‘I gotta dance, man.’ I would regret it for the rest of my life if I was in a male stripper movie and didn’t get up there and strip myself. …At first it was scary as hell, but then it became like a drug, and I couldn’t wait to do it again. Look, I love to dance, but I’ve never been a stripper. Channing’s one of the best hip-hop street dancers I’ve ever seen, and I didn’t want to challenge his style, so I worked on my own strengths. I also knew that my dance had to be the dirtiest. It had to be wonderfully filthy.” Did he use a stand-in for his striptease? “No way. That’s all me up there. I don’t need a stunt ass.” On who’s the hottest stripper in Magic Mike: “Dallas, of course. Everybody was pretty damn ripped already, but boy, if you really want to get men in great shape, just tell them they’re going to play male strippers in a movie and have their sh-t onscreen for the rest of time. Vanity, baby.” On the gay community’s early enthusiasm for Magic Mike: “Well, I would hope and reckon so. They should be pumped, and they should come out in droves, because they won’t be let down. I think they’ll come out more excited then they came in. I look forward to hearing the chatter of the gay community after they see it, including their answer to your question of who’s the hottest.” On the first time he became aware of the gay audience: “I know exactly when. It was about 1995, I go into a coffee shop on Santa Monica Boulevard, and the guy behind the counter has a picture of me from Boys on the Side taped to the tip jar. Is that not classic? I gave that guy a big tip.” On laughing off gay rumors about he & Lance Armstrong: “Well, I’m really secure in my skin. I’m heterosexual, and I’m just fine with that. Those rumors have to make the rounds, and I know that I was fun target for them.” Will he ever play a gay role? “It’s not on the ‘no way’ list, but it’s not on the bucket list either. Just tune in to all my films that are coming out in the next year or so, and you might get a little surprise. That’s all I’ll say.” What would he do if one of his children came out? “That’s got to be really hard for a child, even if they think the parents’ reaction is going to be great. I’d sit down, talk to them, and ask them to walk me through how they knew, because I’d want to be open about it. There’s nothing in me that can understand disowning your child because they’re gay. You deal with it, you support them, and you also help prepare them for how some people in the world will treat and think of them. I don’t think you can sugarcoat it, because they will run into some adversity and roadblocks.” [From The Advocate ] Matthew is such a gentleman in every sense of the word. He’s also not faking it at all in regard to his respect for the gay community. I mean, can you imagine how douchebag John Mayer would have answered such difficult questions if he were an actor? “ Would I ever play a gay role? That depends on if I was rocking out with my David Duke c-ck out or not. ” Perish the thought. In sharp contrast, Matthew is pure class. He might not be the best smelling dude around, but he’ll treat everyone equally right. Here’s Matthew presenting at the Texas Film Hall of Fame Awards on 3/8. He’s such a Texas boy, and speaking as an Oklahoman girl, I will say that is very appealing. Photos courtesy of The Advocate and WENN

Video: Kristen Stewart Talks "Mind-Blowing" SWATH and Twilight Similarities
Kristen Stewart was in London for a few days to promote Snow White & The Huntsman , and then yesterday she flew to Germany. I was expecting to come in this morning to fresh Berlin premiere photos, but that didn’t happen. Maybe the Berlin premiere is tonight? I don’t know. I’m sure the Twihards will come in and tell me the schedule momentarily. While I’ve got the Twihards’ attention, does anyone know if SWATH also has a premiere at the Cannes Film Festival? I know Kristen is scheduled to appear on behalf of On the Road , but it seems like SWATH would also get a (non-competition) premiere at Cannes as well. Anyway, I just thought I’d share this story – after the UK premiere of SWATH two nights ago ( in which Kristen wore that Marchesa monstrosity ), Kristen and her “f–king boyfriend” Robert Pattinson were all kinds of loved up at the post-premiere party. Aw, cute. A fairytale romance fit for a fairytale premiere! Kristen Stewart didn’t have to attend the London premiere Monday of her new film Snow White and the Huntsman alone. Her Twilight costar and real-life boyfriend, Robert Pattinson, secretly attended the premiere in his hometown at Empire Cinema London. “Rob was Kristen’s date,” a source tells Us Weekly. Stewart, who plays Snow White, presented the film with the cast on stage while Pattinson watched from the audience. “Rob was cheering and clapping for Kristen as they walked off stage,” the source adds. “He looked proud of his girlfriend.” After the premiere, the cast attended Ciroc Ultra Premium Vodka’s official after party at the Royal Courts of Justice. Stewart, 22, changed out of her black lace Marchesa gown into a leather jacket and jeans. Pattinson, who celebrated his 26th birthday Sunday, also dressed casually in his trademark baseball cap. “Rob met Kristen there,” a partygoer tells Us. “They stayed together in the VIP area all night and looked really cozy. They made sure no one saw them or photographed them.” But they weren’t alone! Pattinson also brought his family to the party to support his Snow White. [From Us Weekly ] Is this how a studio-promoted couple eases their way into being an actual couple? I actually don’t think this is a studio romance at this point. I had some doubts a few years ago, but it feels more and more like the real deal. Kristen and Robert are really dating. She’s down with his family, he’s down with her family. He even brings his family to a party to support Kristen. It really is very cute. Rob’s going to be in Cannes too – and while the Twihards have high hopes that they’re walk each other’s red carpets together, I doubt it will happen. Still, I bet they party together every night. These are some pics of Kristen in London, going into a BBC interview. I don’t get why the “side-knotted” t-shirt is her new trend. She’s been doing that for months, trying to make that look “happen”. It’s not happening. Also, those skinny jeans look poured on, they’re so incredibly tight. How is this outfit comfortable? Photos courtesy of WENN.

After an already successful year in the film business, Channing Tatum is now eying a new leading role! According to a report put out by Deadline on Monday (May 14), the “Dear John” actor is in talks to star in the new Roland Emmerich directed flick “White House Down.” The James Vanderbilt written script was picked up by Sony earlier this year for a reported $3 million and has been said to feature a para-military type takeover of the White House. Aside from “White House Down,” which is said to hit theaters in November, the sexy 32-year-old actor can also be seen on the big screen twice this summer in “Magic Mike” and “G.I. Joe: Retaliation.”
