Idol may be off to a slower start in its 11th year on air, but things are going well in Jennifer’s personal life. Casper defended his and J Lo’s age difference recently, saying “close your ears and open your heart!” She’s also getting along well with her ex, Marc Anthony , despite rumors of trouble when they split last Summer and when she took up with her much younger backup dancer. It’s no secret she loves to be in front of the camera, and Vienna Girardi was spotted hamming it up on a boat in Miami, FL on Tuesday (January 24). The former “Bachelor Pad” contestant sported a strapless, blue swimsuit as she hopped on a speed boat with a gaggle of friends including beefy male pal. Certainly aware of the on-hand paparazzi, Miss Girardi happily showed off her bikini body as she soaked up the sun and even took a turn on a rope swing. The sighting comes just after Vienna’s ex-boyfriend, Kasey Kahl, was arrested for being drunk and disorderly at Club Habanos in Fresno, CA, of which he blamed on some fellow bar-goers who he thought wanted their 15 minutes of fame. Kahl didn’t end up being charged with anything.

Ms. Davis is up for the Best Actress trophy, competing against Meryl Streep, Rooney Mara, Glenn Close, and Michelle Williams. She told press, “The key to a great performance is surrounding yourself with talent and getting over your ego. One thing everybody gave up was their egos when they got on the set, and I think that showed in the final product.” Additionally, Ms. Spencer is in the running for the Best Supporting Actress trophy, as are Jessica Chastain, Emma Stone, and Bryce Dallas Howard. Octavia noted, “I am never presumptuous because these sorts of things are beyond our control and I didn’t want to be set up for disappointment. It was a star-studded afternoon on the water off the coast of St. Barts today! Matt and Luciana Damon popped up on a mega yacht with Chris Hemsworth and his wife, Elsa Pataky, and other friends. They spent the day lounging on the huge watercraft, which featured a helicopter and helipad, and taking turns riding down an inflatable slide. Matt went shirtless while Chris also showed off his hot Avengers physique sans shirt. Luciana donned a black bikini when she wasn’t covered up in a white maxi dress, and Elsa wore a skimpy dark two-piece as well.
