box-office record previously held by Pirates of the Carribean-Dead Man’s Chest by raking in over $59 million on Friday opening day alone. Spider Man 3 had a budget of $258 million but has already profited $117 million since its opening. This is guaranteed to be one of the years box office hits, if not the biggest.
