Providing updates on his daughter’s condition, Michael Lohan recently stated that Lindsay is involved in a detoxification program to rid her of her addiction to alcohol and OxyContin. 

“I spoke to the folks treating Lindsay considering I want to build certain she is getting the right care,” he told press. “And I’m satisfied they are doing the right thing for her, helping her detox from painkillers and things. That’s a very urgent step.”

Daddy Lohan was recently released from prison himself, so he knows the feeling of being in serious trouble.  Still, Lindsay has continued to compose it obvious that she wants no part of his preaching ways.

During his stay in the big house, Mr. Lohan completed

Bible College and became a minister with the Assemblies of God denomination.  He mentioned that he is pleased that LiLo will be undergoing a God-based recovery.

“I learned they use the 12-step program, which includes a lot of lessons bases on God’s teachings, so I was satisfied with that,” he said. “First she needs to get clean, thereupon she needs to let God in her life.”
