Life’s Going To Be A Lot Different For The Beckhams

Just this past week one of the most anticipated arrivals in recent memory occurred in Beverly Hills when David Beckham and family moved in. I’m not saying David and wife are not talented, what I am saying is all the excitement surrounding their move-in will not last very long at all.
Think about it. He’s a 32-year-old athlete whose sport ranks just below hockey in terms of American interest.

She—Victoria Adams—is a 33-year-old former Spice Girl!
Don’t get me wrong. I know the couple has amassed much success in their own right. With that being said, I do not believe they’ll receive the same type of celebrity appeal here as they did in Europe.
America is a culture with a very demanding “what have you done for me lately?” attitude. And let’s face it, neither of the Beckhams has done much.
