As in the previous two outings, At World’s End promises plenty of action and though tiny-framed Keira says the latest film was one of her most physically demanding to period, she plus insisted on doing most of her own stunt work.

“This film is definitely a little bit darker and there are some really great fight scenes,� she says gleefully. “I didn’t precisely insist on the

fight scenes but I did ask for them for my character in the first movie. I kept saying, ‘I want a sword’ and they never gave me one, so in that one they gave me two, which is great!� she laughs.

Pity that despite her deft swordplay, the hardy star has come under fierce attack from critics who say her slender physique encourages anorexia in young girls.
