The “Curious Case of Benjamin Button”beauty dazzled the S ydneyOpera House red carpet in a gold Alexander McQueen frock before heading inside to tend to her presenter duties. On the career front for Blanchett, the Oscar winner is set to star in a production of Botho Strauss’ “Big and Small (Gross and Klein) at London’s Barbican Theatre. They attended the Sundance Film Festival to promote their new film The Words and even though they entered separately reports say the two stuck by each other’s side after the cameras were gone and even shared a kiss at a cocktail party. They play a married couple in the film and it seems as though their on-screen romance has turned into a real-life romance. They were also spotted going out together in Toronto while shooting the movie. Rumors of the pair being more than just co-stars began during the filming of their movie when people noticed the chemistry between the two.

Like Kaiser , the more I hear from Daniel Radcliffe, the more my admiration for him grows. He just seems like such a decent, standup, funny guy. Radcliffe’s new period horror film, The Woman in Black , opens in the US this weekend. It’s a crucial moment for his career as it’s the first film he’s done since the Harry Potter series concluded. He’s doing some interviews to promote it, and is on the cover of Esquire UK’s March edition. Kaiser found me some nice quotes from his interview, in which he talks about first asking his girlfriend, production assistant Rosie Coker, on a date (you can see a photo of her here ) and about being a rich and famous celebrity. He’s very low key about it all, which is why we love him. Here’s more: The 22-year-old Harry Potter star, whose latest film The Woman in Black is set for its UK release on Friday (February 3), spoke about his current relationship with girlfriend Rosie Coker in the latest edition of Esquire. He confessed: “It was around the end of the seventh film (The Deathly Hallows: Part 1) and I started looking at Rosie and going, ‘Jesus, I quite fancy you!’ So I plucked up the courage to ask her out on a date. “I’m a serial monogamist. I’m not one of those people that can date loads of people at the same time, it’s all too complicated.” Radcliffe also admitted to having to deal with over-zealous fans, saying: “I recently had this woman who wrote to me a couple of times, offering sex. She didn’t say it explicitly, but she said, ‘This is my hotel room number, I will be sitting in row C, seat 26 and wearing a red scarf’.” Despite appearing in the Harry Potter franchise for a decade, Radcliffe said that he rarely gets recognized while out in New York, “I’m 5ft 5in, so no one gives me a second glance. In an interview with Heat Magazine, he said that he was asked by filmmakers not to shave down there in order to portray the character accurately, but that it wasn’t an issue for him. He also said “ I don’t like girls with nothing down there either. It freaks me out .” “This is way too much information, but I don’t like girls with nothing down there either. It freaks me out. You have to have something, otherwise it’s f**king creepy,” he told Heat magazine. Radcliffe made the comment when asked about the controversy over getting naked for 2007 stage show ‘Equus’ and the fuss over his ample of pubic hair. “I was like, ‘Yeah, of course I do!’” Radcliffe said. “I’m a Jewish man! We have hair down there.” He said he was told to keep it natural for his new project playing a Jewish man in ‘Kill Your Darlings’. “It’s funny actually, I’ve just been having a discussion with the guy who’s directing my new project,” he said. “It might have a bit of nudity and he said, ‘Just to let you know, if you’re getting naked, no landscaping of any kind. This is the ’40s and you’re playing a Jew’. “I was like, ‘Pretty much there anyway, mate! Not a huge amount of maintenance going on’. Don’t they have merkins for men, or are they hard to come by? God, that is cracking me up so hard! I’ll try to be brief on the issue of female intimate grooming, as it’s a touchy subject. I’ll just say that I’ve never dated a guy who shared Radcliffe’s stance on this issue and I’ll leave it at that. ( Janeane Garofalo agrees with him though.) I’m sure there’s a tasteless Harry Potter joke in this story, but all the ones that come to mind are real groaners. Lily Collins is the “Snow White” in the awful-looking Mirror, Mirror , the one with Julia Roberts as the Evil Queen. We’ve covered two trailers from the film, both equally terrible, both with increasing levels of hair. Now, some people yelled at me for pointing out Lily Collins’ eyebrow issues – but I just don’t understand how other people can NOT find her eyebrows distracting. This is not a Brooke Shields issue, where a girl is groomed but she just rocks a really strong brow. What’s going on with Lily’s brows looks flat-out unkempt, and I find it difficult to believe that no one at the studio had any problems with it. Beyond the grooming issues, I do think she’s a pretty girl – miscast as Snow White, yes, but pretty. Imagine how much prettier she’d look without the shadowy unibrow. Anyway, Lily covers the new issue of Seventeen Magazine, and she talks about the fur-covered elephant in the room: On her eyebrows: “It used to bother me – having bigger, fuller brows. I even plucked them once so I’d fit in, but I hated them and couldn’t wait for them to grow back. Now I embrace them. I’ve realized the quirky things that make you different are what make you beautiful.” On her last name (she’s the daughter of music legend Phil Collins): “My last name may have opened doors, but I have to keep them open.” On her celeb crush: “It’s weird to have celebrity crushes now because I could actually meet them or work with them! When I was younger, it was definitely Leonardo DiCaprio in Titanic. I had pictures of him and I had ‘NSYNC posted. I had the biggest crush on Justin Timberlake!” Love advice: “My advice for girls who are waiting for their Prince Charming is to be open for anything. Be open to new experiences, be open to the idea that it may take longer than you want, but if you’re open to meeting new people and new adventures, then love will come along.” [From Seventeen ] That interview made me like her a little bit. She’s following the same kind of girlish, princessy publicity strategy of someone like Taylor Swift, I think. So, basically, I think she’ll do well in the industry, and I won’t have any problems with that. As for the brows – I understand that she thinks her brows contribute to her individuality (perhaps like Swifty stands up for curly-haired girls). Well, I have brow issues too, but Lily does not represent me. Because I know I look better with my stuff groomed. Here are some new photos of Kim Kardashian, which she tweeted yesterday. She was supposed to be “modeling” a new bra from the Kardashian Kollection lingerie line ( “All about corals for spring swimwear.” ) – but people were just paying attention to her hair, which is freshly dyed. She’s gone from Kardashian-black to Kardashian-dark-brown. I have to admit, I redyed my hair over the weekend, and I think Kim and I have the same shade, because my hair looks a lot like this. Kim tweeted : “I dyed my hair lighter yesterday! I’m loving it! New hair color=new beginnings for me You like?” But her hair (and her kat-face) isn’t the only “new beginning”. Kim also tweeted, “I want to start a bible study group with my friends!” Because she’s religious now! Is that her move? I’m debating whether or not to be offended by this. Honestly, I don’t think it offends me. I live in a super-Jesusy area, and I don’t think most of the fundamentalists around here would even bat an eye at doing a Bible study group with Kim Kardashian. I cannot believe we’re still talking about Gerard Butler and Brandi Glanville’s alleged or not-so-alleged hookup last year. For the record, I believed (and still believe) that they boned at some point. I also believe that Gerard Butler bangs anything with two legs and a pulse (although amputee strange is still welcome), and that G-But probably doesn’t remember who or what he banged and how. Last week, Brandi talked about their “week long” hookup while she was on Watch What Happens Live – Brandi rated Gerard an “11 out of 10” in the love-making department. Then, a few days later, TMZ’s cameras caught up with Gerard and asked him about Brandi’s comments. His reply? “Who’s Brandi Glanville?” So, was Brandi lying? Or did Gerard just “forget” Brandi’s name? God knows. Brandi went to RumorFix and gave them an exclusive statement: “He called me last night and told me he said it. He is upset because he is a private person. I don’t lie so I don’t really care.” She also tweeted, “I don’t lie. So he can suck it!” And now there’s ANOTHER interview. LynnNChicago, a self-proclaimed “Real Housewives Expert,” sat down with Brandi for an extensive interview – you can read the whole thing here . There’s a lot of stuff about RHOBH, but I couldn’t care less. What I found interesting was the Gerard Butler stuff: Brandi did admit to having a week long fling with Gerard Butler, he later denied knowing who she was but he certainly got the name right when he repeated it twice. (after the reporter said her name vaguely and while barely breathing.) It was interesting that when Andy questioned Brandi further, it turned out her fling was during last season’s filming, how did Bravo’s cameras miss that? Brandi told me that she’s spoken with Gerard on the phone and have had numerous text messages, she’s apologized to him and if she could take it back she absolutely would. ”If there is one thing I regret and would take back, it’s that!” (telling the world about their week long fling) Brandi told me that when Andy Cohen asks you a question his eyes are like truth syrum. “His eyes get really big and you have to tell him the truth.” she laughed. “One thing I am not, is a liar, I said it and I can’t take it back.” Brandi told me. ”What am I going to do now, go back and say I lied about it? No, I’m not going to do that!” It’s out there and Gerard is going to have to deal with it. You can only apologize so much then you have to move on. Gerard tried to deny he even knew Brandi by telling a TMZ reporter, “Who’s Brandi Glanville?” but it was pretty clear when he repeated it the second time that he knows exactly who Brandi is. He overplayed his hand a bit! Yes, he’s upset with Brandi but as I told her, he’ll get over it! Two consenting adults, both single, they did nothing wrong so why deny it?
