The Beverly Hilton was packed with celebrities, as the 69th Golden Globes took place! George Clooney and his film ‘The Descendants’ won big, along with a black and white silent film called ‘The Artist’. ‘The Artist’ solidified its status as an Oscar front runner ‘by taking home 3 Golden Globes for Best Comedy/Musical picture, Best Comedy/Musical actor Jean Dujardin, and Best Score. George Clooney’s big night started when he won Best Drama Actor for his film ‘The Descendants’ which also won Best Drama. Madonna also made her mark on the evening, winning Best Song for ‘Masterpiece’, the tune she co-wrote for ‘W.E.’. It truly was a Golden night, ‘The Artist’ and ‘The Descendants’ led way, and with award season underway we’re anticipating the Academy Awards!
